We are looking for a passionate & talented Qualified Administrator & Marketing Officer to join our dynamic firm in the Bedfordshire office as soon as possible .

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Act a first point of contact for enquirers to L & S and sister companies. Answering the telephone and referring calls to other team members or taking messages, displaying excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and empathy with our clients.
  • General office administration, including delivering excellent customer service, both over the phone and face to face to customers and colleagues alike. Maintains workflow and track reports to ensure delivery before deadline.
  • Dealing with office general supplies, handling letters, laminating and scanning documents etc.
  • Greet visitors promptly, courteously and efficiently. Offer refreshments and ensure the appropriate person is notified.
  • Providing accurate reports of events.
  • Maintaining the filing system accurately and monitoring the Correspondence email (includes printing and filing of emails).
  • Maintaining accurate records, including updating the organisation’s database, creating records and communications, in line with the organisation’s data protection policy as required.
  • Organise and maintain effective filing systems, both paper based and electronic. Taking on specific projects relating to the database.
  • Sort, distribute and file posts whilst receiving post and courier deliveries
  • Set meeting rooms and ensure that they have the required equipment and stationary as require
  • Inputting accurate information into the systems
  • Occasional cash handling
  • Participate in the production of general L & S leaflets, newsletters, training resources and information as required.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Support with events which could include collating and sending out packs, letters and documentation, marketing, etc.
  • Assist with HR duties.
  • Graphics design and media skills are an advantage.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Numerate as you may handle cash sometimes
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Previous reception/admin experience is a must
  • HR experience is required
  • Social Media Marketing experience required
  • Assist office teams with tasks
  • Maintain any assigned spreadsheets or company software’s
  • Deadline oriented
  • Attention to details

Other duties and responsibilities:

  • Abide by health and safety guidelines and share responsibility for own safety and that of colleagues.
  • Attend regular staff meetings and contribute.
  • Any other relevant administrative and support duties appropriate to the post.
  • To always work within the Policies and Procedures of the company.

Starting salary of £21,450 annually with an increase after six month probation period.
